Stained Glass in Wales | Gwydr Lliw yng Nghymru

Herbert Bryans (1856-1925)

Stained glass designer. Herbert William Bryans trained with C.E. Kempe, becoming chief assistant to John Carter, before leaving in about 1897. He worked for a short time in partnership with Geoffrey Webb as Bryans and Webb around the turn of the century, before establishing his own stained glass studio. Kempe's influence can be clearly seen in his style.
