John Hardman Powell (1827–1895)


English designer. John Hardman Powell was the nephew of A.W.N. Pugin, J.H. Powell became Pugin's pupil. J.H. Powell assumed the role of chief designer for his uncle's rapidly expanding firm John Hardman & Co. after the death of Pugin.
