This location of this church is known as Llanfair-yn-y-Cwmwd, although it is near Dwyran. It is one of two churches in the parish, the other known as Llangeinwen (St Ceinwen).

Editor's response: Following some reorganisation of the way churches are linked to place-names over the last few months (late 2018), the location of the church now says Llanfair-yn-y-Cwmwd, instead of the nearest settlement, Dwyran.
