Medieval church on an early Christian site. Llanbeblig church is dedicated to Peblig (Publicius), and is Caernarfon's parish church. It is situated adjacent to Segontium, the Roman fort, which is outside of the medieval town. Much of the church dates to the fourteenth century, with a tower of the fifteenth-sixteenth century. The church was restored in 1894 by R.H. Thomas of Menai Bridge.
