Charles Edward Tute (1858-1927)


Artist and stained glass designer. C.E. Tute was trained with C.E. Kempe, before establishing himself on Gray's Inn Road, London, by the 1880s. Stained glass designed by him was made at the same address by the firm of Edward O'Neill (E.C. O'Neill). Tute emigrated to Australia in 1906.
