John Winbolt (1867-1952)


Stained glass designer. John Winbolt trained with C.E. Kempe during the 1880s, and continued to work there until 1898. He subsequently worked with Herbert Bryans, and then independently.

Editor's response: many thanks and now corrected, I may have taken the incorrect spelling from my edition of the NADFAS guide to Stained Glass Marks and Monograms.
