1963

Illuminated (back-lit) panel showing dove descending with cruet and bread.

size: 120 x 90 cm

Skewen Methodist Church, Skewen, Neath Port Talbot
front of pulpit

Donated by Mrs J Lawson-Taylor, who was a member of the church. It is also believed that the work was designed and made by Mrs Lawson-Taylor.

The panel is very similar to contemporary work by Howard Martin, and it is likely that she trained with Howard Martin at Swansea College of Art on the stained glass course.
