Signed 'O'Connor London 1868'.
Dedication: 'To the glory of God and in pious memory of William Lutener of Dolerw in this parish also of his son Thomas. They died in the year of our redemption 1868.'Many scenes of the adoration of the shepherds and the Magi conflate the two events as a single image. Here two subjects are depicted as separate scenes, but both set under a canopy suggestive of a stable, with the suggestion of mountains beyond.
