Mostyn Lewis points out that the window was commissioned no later than 1830, as the patrons, the daughters of Howel Lloyd, left Llangernyw at this date. It is therefore the earliest known window by the artist, and also considerably pre-dates the restoration of the church in about 1849.
The window was recently releaded and conserved by Barry Brady of Meridian Stained Glass.The window is a detailed interpretation of the parable of the sheep and goats from Matthew 25:35-45.
