The window is a companion piece to the window depicting St John and St Joseph of Arimathea.Figure of Mary, with gospel book (reference to her son as 'the Word') and her symbol of the lily. Mary Magdalene with her symbol, the jar of ointment. The panels below show the angel greeting the women at the Empty Tomb, and Jesus Himself speaking to Mary Magdalene. As the emphasis in the companion window is heavily on the Passion, here it is on the Resurrection.
