Single-light window with standing figure of Solomon. A scene below shows labourers at work.
size: 60 cm (width)firm/studio: Samuel Evans & Co.Church of St Matthew, Newportnorth wall of the nave (now converted to a hall)
The composition of the window is clearly intended to match that of its neighbouring window, depicting David.
Text: 'Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it' Psalm 127:1.
