Christ the Good Shepherd
detail from Christ with St David and St Tydecho
1864

firm/studio: Heaton, Butler & BayneChurch of St Tydecho, Llanymawddwy, Gwyneddeast wall of the chancel (window number: I)
The design is attributed to R.T. Bayne by William Waters.
A relatively early date for the depiction of Welsh saints, the choice perhaps influenced by the interests of the scholar and antiquarian Revd John Williams, who was rector at St Tydecho's in the mid-nineteenth century.
