early sixteenth century, restored in 1877

Crucifixion scene at the centre of a five light-window. The figure of Christ hangs on the cross high above Mary and John at either side. Roundels depicting the instruments of the passion are at the top of the lights at each side.

restorer: Joseph Bell

Church of St Asaph and St Cyndeyrn, Llanasa, Flintshire
east wall of the south nave (window number: sI)

Four figures formerly flanked the scene, and were moved to the east window of the north nave in 1877 and heavily restored in such a way as to make it difficult to discern how much glass is original.
