Two-light window with standing figures. Basil holds a book with the dove of the Holy Spirit descending. Nicholas is depicted as a bishop with a boy who holds a boat.

artist: Gerald Edward Roberts Smith

Church of the Holy Trinity, Aberaeron, Ceredigion
north wall of the nave

Given in memory of Revd E. Basil Herbert, vicar of the parish from 1928-1943.

A further work by the artist may be found nearby at Aberarth.

The dove descending on the ear of Basil is reminiscent of the iconography of St David.
