Large single-light window with a standing figure of Abraham, who holds a knife, with angels holding symbols of Christ and the Passion. Below is a scene depicting the sacrifice of Isaac.

Church of St Mary, Hay-on-Wye, Powys
south wall of the nave, adjacent to pulpit

Signed Arthur J. Dix fecit 1906. Dedicated in 1907.

Texts: 'By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed' (Hebrews 11:8); 'For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God' (Hebrews 11:10); 'I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me' (Genesis 22:12).
