Church of St Egwad, Llanegwad, Carmarthenshire
east wall of the chancel (window number: I)

Gabriel bears the text 'Hail thou that art highly favoured' and Mary holds a codex, traditionally open at Isaiah 7:14. The figures of Christ as Teacher and Good Shepherd are suitable for a memorial to a priest, as here to the Revd Thomas Beynon Nicholl (1843-81), vicar of the parish.
