Two-light window.

artist: Christopher Charles Powell

Church of St Mary Magdalene, St Clears, Carmarthenshire
north wall of the chancel

Signed Charles Powell Highgate. Although most of the windows in the church are probably by the artist and/or his son Christopher Charles Powell, this is one of only two windows that has a signature. The similarity to later work by C.C. Powell suggests that he was largely responsible for the window.

Given in memory of Revd Charles Fresderick Owen, vicar of the parish from 1895 until his death in 1914, aged 60.
