probably 1880s

Three-light window with busy biblical scenes.

Church of St John the Evangelist, Gowerton, Swansea
south wall of the south aisle (window number: sIII)

The window is by the same maker who made the east window, and has similarities with the work of Heaton, Butler & Bayne.

The three scenes are chosen as stories from the gospels that mention John, the patron of the church.
