Decorative artist and latterly a glass painter (from 1784) based in Birmingham. He undertook several commissions for churches and cathedrals, as well as large private commissions via his association with the architects James and Samuel Wyatt. Among his most lucrative commissions were the windows for William Thomas Beckford at Fonthill Abbey, including 32 figures of kings and knights, for which he was paid £12,000.
