Artist and art historian. Born in Devon and trained at Reading before moving to Wales. Worked as a sculptor and undertook several public art commissions such as the Hywel Dda Memorial in Whitland and the exhibition at St Padarn's, Llanbadarn Fawr. Began writing about visual culture in the 1980s and now works primarily as an art historian.
