A flowing design in blues and browns, with a grid pattern on the brown glass and semi-circles in grey at the bottom.

size: 47.5 x 52.5 cm
artist: Gareth Morgan

Swansea College of Art, Swansea
M/SCA/FLP/225

Submitted to the competition of the Master Glaziers, the theme was 'The Big Bang'. The name of the artist is found on the frame as well as 'Mimosa': the artist's pseudonym for the competition.

Made with acid-etched flashed glass and opaque white glass, with areas of sandblasted glass where paint has been rubbed in. The panel now has some cracking on the larger pieces of glass.

The colouration of the panel is very similar to the window by the artist made in 1991 for St John's, Pontyberem.
