probably early twentieth century

Single-light window. Standing figure of Christ with hand raised in blessing.

size: 48 cm (width)
firm/studio: Mayer & Co.

Church of St David, Bangor, Gwynedd
south wall of the Lady Chapel (window number: sVI)

Signed by the firm.

Dedication: 'This window has been placed here by the members of the Sunday School to the Glory of God and in memory of William Jones who was for many years Verger of this church.'

Although made by Mayer & Co, who were responsible for the original pictorial windows in the church in 1890, the dedication implies that the window was placed some years after that time. The style of the window appears dark and dated in comparison with the (presumably) later windows by Powell's, suggesting a date perhaps around 1910.
