Two-light window. Virgin and child opposite a kneeling angel, with birds, animals and flowers below. A rainbow arches over the scene with birds overhead. Roundels below depict Pennard Castle and Three Cliffs Bay.

size: 39 cm (width of each light)
artist: John Edwards
firm/studio: Glantawe Studios

Church of St Mary, Pennard, Swansea
south wall of the nave

Signed with the cloverleaf of Glantawe Studios, made by Tim Lewis to the design of John Edwards.

The scene is suggestive of Christ welcoming the new dawn, in this case, the new dawn of the millennium.
