Given in memory of Trevor Gwyn Elliot Lewis (1871-1921) by his wife. He was the younger son of Sir W.T. Lewis, first baron Merthyr. The window was installed in June 1922.The scene of the baptism of Lucius repeats the design used in the north transept window at the Church of St Elvan, Aberdare, made in 1905. The design of the figure of Elfan is also the same in both windows, although the design was used by the studio for other saints at other churches.
