perhaps 1980s

Abstract design with organic forms and the bust of a bearded man occupying the upper right-hand side, set at an angle. The word 'Historia' is located at the foot of the panel in Roman lettering.

size: 52 x 47.5 cm

Swansea College of Art, Swansea
M/SCA/FLP/66

Uses pieces of streaky antique glass and opaque white strips, with horizontal bevelling. White paint on the reverse of the face diffuses the light.

The arched structure of the leading suggests that the design was perhaps a section for a larger window, perhaps made as a proposal for a commission or competition entry.
