about 2003

Abstract design in reds and yellows with what looks like a dove at the top left and a woman's face in red flashed glass. The design may be intended as a representation of the Annunciation.

size: 48.5 x 58.8 cm
artist: Louise Takaoka

Swansea College of Art, Swansea
M/SCA/FLP/319

There are two names on the frame, Jenny Wren (perhaps a pseudonym) and Louise Takaoka (perhaps the name of the artist). The panel was entered for the Stevens Competition in 2003.

The panel is made with acid-etched flashed glass and semi-opal white glass.
