Double-glazed panel with a cross over an image of the globe, on a red background with the words above 'Says the Lord'.

size: 39 x 49 cm

Swansea College of Art, Swansea
M/SCA/FLP/298

The image of the globe is made from vertical strips of sandblasted or acided blue flashed glass, fused together and stuck to a piece of sandblasted glass. It is hard to discern from the front, but easily seen from an angle. The cross is also formed from vertical strips of glass. A leaded panel at the back of the double-glazed unit is made with sandblasted flashed glass and kiln-formed clear glass. The lettering is gilded on sandblast-carved clear glass.
