Given in memory of Anne Maria Louisa Philips James (died 1877) by her daughter. Anne James was the daughter of John Phillips Laugharne of Orlandon (died 1867).The female figures holding a cross and anchor are symbolic of the allegorical figures of Faith and Hope, and are usually accompanied by Charity.
