1998

Single-light window.

firm/studio: Glantawe Studios
designer: Colwyn Morris

Church of St Mary the Virgin, Rhossili, Swansea
south wall of the nave (window number: sV)

Signed with the mark of Glantawe Studios, the name of the designer, Colwyn Morris, and the initials B.E. and T.L (Bryan Evans and Tim Lewis).

Given in memory of Bishop John Mort, the first bishop of northern Nigeria.

Although the standing figure in blue appears to be Mary, suggestive of a conventional representation of the Virgin & Child, the child that she holds has no halo.
