Memorial to Captain John Logan Stewart of Llanfair House, killed at Dunkirk 1940. Given by his parents Major & Mrs W. E. Logan Stewart. His sister Mary Elizabeth Halliday, contributed to the design, which includes a portrait of Capt Stewart (as St George) and of his favourite dog.

'The swastika on the dragon's limb symbolizes the evil which was defeated in World War II' (Church Guide). Window bears the inscription 'He fought for peace - and found it'. It is interesting to note that this war memorial window dates from 25 years after the death of the person commemorated.
