Given in memory of Susan Catherine Venables (1823-89). The window may have been inserted as a pair with the neighbouring window, which is dated 1891.
Texts: (with the upper scene) 'Thy people shall be my people.' (Ruth 1:16); (between the upper and lower scenes) 'I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.'
