Single-light window. Standing figure of Simeon holding the Christ-child, a lamp above and a small roundel of a pair of doves below.

west wall of the south aisle

Text: 'Simeon taketh the Holy Child in his arms.'

Given in memory of Edwin Rowland Payne and his wife Amelia, presumably replacing the window made by Harry Clarke between the wars.


The two doves represent the offering made by Mary and Joseph at the temple.
