Signed: 'A. Gibbs, Bedford Sq. London'.

Dedication: 'To the glory of God and to the memory of Edmund Blundell Williams, born March 19th A.D. 1844, interred at Llanganhafal December 13th A.D. 1853'.

The artist was operating from Bedford Square from 1858, suggesting a date no earlier than this.
