The window depicting St Francis was given in memory of Ivor John Caradoc Herbert, Baron Treowen, died 18 October 1933. The window depicting Bernard was given in memory of Ivor Herbert's son, Elydyr John Bernard Herbert, who was killed in Palestine in 1917.
