I was 11 years of age when these windows were installed at Bethania. I recall that their appearance in the chapel did not receive unanimous assent from the congregation. Many of the elder members felt that they were inappropriate in a Welsh non-conformist chapel and were too " church like". I liked them and during sermons which were a little boring they provided a focal point upon which to gaze and wonder. They were at their best on a sunny summer morning with the sun behind them as they face east.
