Two-light window.

firm/studio: F. C. Eden

St Mary and Christ Church, Llanfairfechan, Conwy

The diagonal lettering and character of the window is suggestive of the work of F.C. Eden, an attribution shown to be correct by Peter Jones.

Given in memory of Maurice R. Smith, a former rector (1925-36).

Indeed by F C Eden, or at least his studio. Confirmed by a collection of F C Eden drawings in the V & A (reference AAD/2013/5). The date 25/2/38 is written in ink on the drawing. Eden had a debilitating stroke in 1934 (V & A document says 1932), some time after which the studio was closed.
