about 2000

Abstract two-light window including daffodils, a butterfly, a dove, wheat and autumn leaves above. Blue glass suggestive of water flows vertically down both lights and there are circular interlaced motifs.

size: 32 cm (width of each light)
artist: Janet Hardy

Church of St David, Betws, Carmarthenshire
north wall of the nave (window number: nV)

Given in 2000 in memory of Emily and Walter Leach by their son Roy Leach.

The interlaced motifs and daffodils are intended to be symbolic of the church's patron saint, David. Other details allude to the agricultural and industrial history of the area.
