probably early twentieth century

Two-light window, with the healing of the Caananite Woman's daughter, and Mary and Martha. Two angels below hold the text: 'He hath sent me to comfort all that mourn'.

size: 65 cm (width each light)
firm/studio: probably Clayton & Bell

Church of St Peter, Glasbury, Powys
south wall of the nave

The window is similar to the work of Clayton & Bell, and is by the same maker as the pair of windows depicting Ruth and Dorcas.

Texts: 'Her daughter was made whole' (Matthew 15:23); 'Mary and her sister' (John 11:1).

A window strangely lacking in drama. Matthew 15: 22-28 is somewhat serenely interpreted.
