Church of St Mary, Cyffylliog, Denbighshire
east wall of the chancel (window number: I)

Dedication: 'To the glory of God and in memory of the Revd. Edward John Owen MA died February, 5th, 1870 by his widow'

The window is included in Dennis Hadley's list of windows by Powell's, without any further details, dated 1912. However, the window bears little similarity with their work around this date (or earlier), and it is possible that the work by Powell's was a repair or restoration. The dedication date is also suggestive of earlier fabrication, perhaps around the time of the restoration of the church by Arthur Baker in 1876. Irregular leading in the left tracery light may suggest the incorporation of some earlier, perhaps late medieval, glass.

The identification of the prophets is uncertain, but groups of four Old Testament prophets usually consist of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel.
