about 1901
A pair of three-light windows, with Moses and Christ standing at the centre of a crowd in each window. Roundels above with musical angels in each light, and a row of saints below, with the evangelists Matthew, Mark and Luke in the left-hand window, and John, David and Peter in the right-hand window.

Text (left) 'The law was given by Moses'; (right) 'Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ' (John 1:17).It is not clear whether the scene with Moses is intended to represent one of the two occasions in which he comes down from the mountain with the commandments, or whether it is simply a generic scene to balance that with Christ on the right, which does not suggest a particular passage either. The main purpose of both scenes is to illustrate the old and the new law. (ObjectID=4736 ImageID=8968) Original File Name=Llanelli_DSC5338A.jpgRecord added by Martin Crampin.
