The Parable of the Talents
from Archangels
about 1910
Three-light window with standing figures of Gabriel, Michael and Raphael over scenes below. In the left-hand light, below Gabriel, the centurion kneels before Christ and asks him to heal his daughter. In the central light, below Michael, Christ stands behind two seated men shaking hands, and a sword on the ground. In the right-hand light, beneath Raphael and Tobias, the servants bring back the money that they have gained from investing the talents given by the master, the man who hid his talent in the ground holding a spade.
