Text held by angels below the main scene: 'As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee' (Matthew 8:13). Text held by angels above: 'Be strong and of a good courage', a phrase found several times in Deuteronomy 31 and Joshua 1 before and after the death of Moses as the Israelites were about to enter the promised land.
