Single-light window depicting the Good Samaritan binding the wounds of the man on the side of the road and taking care of him.

north wall of the north aisle (Church Street side of church)

Under the picture of the Good Samaritan are the words 'Go thou and do likewise' (Luke 10:37). The latin text at the bottom when translated reads 'To the Glory of God and in memory of Robert Eyton who lived a long time in this town, first as a prefect and then as magistrate with the highest honour he rendered his soul to God aged 64 years on 14th June 1848. Was he the other Good Samaritan? This window having been placed by his brother's son Peter Ellis Eyton AD 1874.
