Three-light window. The central scene depicting the crucified Christ has two women at the foot of the cross, perhaps Mary, who is also depicted in the left-hand light, and Mary Magdalene. Standing figure of the risen Christ, showing his wounds, holds the banner of the resurrection.

size: 37 cm (width of each light)
artist: Joseph Bell

Church of St Tewdric, Mathern, Monmouthshire
north wall of the chancel

Signed and dated by the artist. The design for the panel in the central light was also used in the 1849 east window at St Michael and All Angels, Buckland Dinham, Somerset.
