about 1973

Single-light window.

artist: Frank Roper

Church of St Saviour, Splott, Cardiff
north wall

This window, and another by Roper in the church was dated 1963 by John Newman. Preparatory designs for both windows are held at Cardiff Record Office, and while the drawing for this window is undated, the other, Christ with the Doctors in the Temple, is dated 1973. Given the similarity of the two windows, this window is perhaps more likely to date from the 1970s.
