mid-twentieth century

Four-light window with standing figures of Moses and Isaiah at either side, with angels betwen.

Trinity Methodist Church, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan
north clerestory

Both main figures are subtitled 'The Law' and 'The Prophets', Moses holding the ten commandments and Isaiah holding a scroll which reads 'Comfort ye my people' (Isaiah 40:1). The angels hold the text 'Thou shalt have no other Gods before me' (Exodus 20:3) and a further text above reads 'Rejoice and be glad'.

The window is later than those around the walls of the nave at ground level, and probably dates from the mid-twentieth century.
