Four-light window with two main scenes. In the left-hand lights of the window Elijah addresses a small crowd on Mount Carmel, while in the right-hand lights of the window Solomon, enthroned, judges between the two women who claim the child. Four scenes with female figures below, symbolising law, justice, mercy and faith.

Texts: 'How long halt ye between two opinions' (1 Kings 18:21); 'Give her the living child she is the mother thereof' (1 King 3:27). Text in the tracery: 'Be strong and of a good courage' (a phrase repeated three times in both Deuteronomy 31 and Joshua 1)
