Text: 'Be thou faithful unto death I will give thee a crown of Life' (Revelation 2:10). The correspondence regarding the commissioning of the window specifically mentions the related imagery of 2 Esdras 2:42–8).

The window was given in memory of Eric Spencer Jones, who had been a student at Keble College, Oxford, and was preparing for ordination. He was killed in action 13 January 1945, and the faculty for the window is dated November 1945.
