Approval by faculty dated 7 March 1930. The cost was to be between £200 and £300, paid for by the donor, Miss Rosa H. Halfod.

If installed, the window no longer survives. The church it was designed for, St John the Evangelist, Maindee, Newport, suffered bomb damage in 1941 and a fire in 1951.
