from Scenes from the Gospels
1928 and 1952
Four large two-light windows on the north and south walls of the Lady Chapel.
artist: Geoffrey WebbLlandaff Cathedral, Llandaff, Cardiffnorth wall of the Lady Chapel
The two south windows were dedicated in 1953, given by the Llandaff Diocesan Mothers' Union, completing a scheme which had been devised by the artist in 1926. The two north windows had been installed around 1928 (although dated 1926 in the British Society of Master Glass Painters list of 1939), and the east window was installed in 1951. Webb also designed the stencil patterning in 1909, which was reinstated in 1988. (ObjectID=3494 ImageID=4131) Original File Name=Llandaff2_DSC0120.jpgRecord added by Martin Crampin.
